Address: Skåre, 5523 Haugesund, Norway
Skåre kirke is an octagonal church built in 1858 in Haugesund, Rogaland.
The building is of wooden construction and has 550 seats.
The church is known as a kulturkirke/'culture church'.
'When new in 1856, the Skaare kirke did not have an organ, but goldsmith and organist Hartvig Jeppesen let the church borrow his harmonium that was placed on a narrow gallery over the altar.'
The church's first organ - two manuals, 8 stops - was built by local organbuilder Andreas Landrog in 1908.
The current main organ was built by Steinmeyer in the 1950s following the construction of the Steinmeyer organ in Vår Frelsers.
